Local retirees MaryAnn and Rick Ronzoni have combined their talents to create beautiful wooden birds, now on display at the Goshen Public Library’s Community Collections Showcase.
Rick, a longtime hands-on enthusiast, enjoys working with his hands—whether it’s fixing cars, building go-carts, or crafting birdhouses. MaryAnn, from an artistic family, has inherited a love for creativity. Her father, Ray Cramer, previously displayed his bird photography at the library, and her family includes artists and poets.
Birdwatching was MaryAnn and Rick’s shared passion from the start, even influencing their honeymoon and vacations. Their love of the outdoors also helped them find the perfect Goshen home—secluded with woods and a pond, despite it being a bilevel without a fireplace.
The display includes Rick’s carving tools and MaryAnn’s art supplies. While you might not replicate their craftsmanship, you can certainly enjoy their work.
